Arla Cream Cheese, Bruschetta with tomato
With Arla® Cream Cheese
INGREDIENTS
Serves 2 (2 x Bruschetta per person)
4 slices sourdough bread
2 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, peeled and cut in half
220g cherry tomatoes, halved
1 small red onion, finely sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper
150g Arla® Cream Cheese
Small handful of basil leaves, torn
PREPARATION
- Heat a griddle pan and when hot, brush each slice of sourdough bread with oil and cook the bread on both sides until charred. Rub each slice of the charred bread with the halved garlic clove.
- In a bowl, mix together the tomatoes, red onion and the remaining olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Spread the Arla® Cream Cheese generously over each slice of sourdough and top with the tomato and red onion mixture.
- Scatter over the basil leaves and serve immediately.
